This is a 12"x18" giclée print of a detail done in watercolor and ink of the Brigham City Tabernacle (otherwise known as the Box Elder Stake Tabernacle). This neo-gothic church was constructed on 1879 in Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah by pioneer settlers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I am often struck by the beauty of these pioneer churches located in the Rocky Mountains. It is a testament to the devotion of a people and a commitment to their creed that these structures not only still exist but that they remain beautiful and vibrant.
ABOUT THE PRINT:
This archival quality giclee print is printed on a high quality, soft textured paper which emulates the original sketchbook or watercolor paper of the original and maintains the authenticity of the original work. The print is made with fade resistant, archival pigmented inks, and printed on Somerset Velvet paper with a professional inkjet printer. This method provides the highest levels of color accuracy, depth of color, and longevity of life for the print. All of my giclee prints are rated to last 80+ years without noticeable fading. To prolong the life of this print and any other archival quality prints, avoid displaying it in direct sunlight, and when possible, frame it with a UV resistant glass.
I hand sign each print before delivery. I deliver the print without a mat and without a frame.
This print will be ready to ship in about 1 week. Prints will be delivered on a cardboard backing insert and slipped into a clear, plastic, protective sleeve. Prints will be sandwiched between another cardboard backing to prevent bending and packaged in a flat cardboard box to guarantee a perfectly safe delivery.
